Atmosphere, Inc. Announces Changes in Company Ownership and Management
Atmosphere, Inc. announces a change in company ownership and management, with the addition of longtime associates Benji Tschudin and Andrew Platt as new shareholders and officers. "After starting the company together 17 years ago, and helping to build the business into a well-established and successful enterprise, my business partner, Joe Scarnecchia, wanted to pursue other endeavors, and has released his interest in the company," said Atmosphere's president, Jay Snyder. "Although Joe won't be involved in the day-to-day management of the company, he will still be valuable as an account representative and consultant. Benji and Andrew have over 35 years combined experience in the special event lighting industry, the majority of which have been here at Atmosphere. They are two of the most dedicated and talented event lighting specialists I have ever met, and I look forward to having them integrally involved in the management and direction of the company."
As well as the addition of Tschudin and Platt to the ownership team, Jessica Warner has been promoted to general manager of the company.
Other changes at the company include an updated inventory, including the Martin Aura and Viper fixtures, as well as Clay Paky Sharpies; an expanded inventory of conventional fixtures, dimming systems, and LED units; the integration of FLEX Solutions inventory control system; and an expansion of the warehouse and trucking support operations. "These changes will improve our ability to support our current schedule of over 700 shows annually at the highest level of quality," said Scarnecchia. "We are also pleased to note that as of this month we will be lighting our 10,000 event since our founding."
Since 1995, Atmosphere, Inc. has been providing lighting production services and lighting equipment rentals for special events throughout the greater Washington DC metropolitan area.
