Altman Lighting introduces the Spectra Cyc 100 UV to their family of LED wash luminaries. This new fixture uses nine 365nm UV LEDs for maximum UV effect without having "blue light" taking away from the proper color rendering of UV sensitive materials. In addition Spectra Cyc UV utilizes an asymmetrical reflector providing a flat, even wash. According to the company, this unique combination gives users a true UV light output with the smoothest, even field available on the market. As an LED source Spectra Cyc UV can strobe without need for a dowser and offers full 0-100% dimming.

Using this combination of technologies the user is able to space these fixtures at 6'-8'apart, at 4' off the cyc or wall. Standard features include DMX in and pass-through, with RDM compatibility. Power in and pass-through, using powerCON connections, enables up to 20 fixtures to be "daisy chained" together for up to 100' of coverage with just one standard 20A circuit. Usable height of the output light has also been measured at a conservative 20' vertical. The fixture is convection cooled offering silent operation and low maintenance.
