Artistic Licence Engineering Launches Flex-Up

Flexed-Up, from UK-based Artistic Licence Engineering, is a stand-alone, three-channel, RGB LED controller designed specifically to drive constant voltage LED products and systems, such as Artistic Licence Flexi-Strip.

The product is supplied with 20 pre-programmed sequences already installed and requires only the addition of a 12V PSU. With no need for a dimmer, all you need do is plug it in for immediate control. It can also do much more. Custom shows, corporate colors, demo sequences -- any customized effects -- can be pre-programmed into Flexed-Up's internal self-control modes to your own specifications. Each sequence is then selected by a simple switch so triggering your own effects is easy, even for the most non-technical end-users, the company says.

Artistic Licence Engineering will program your personal series of up to 20 sequences into Flexed-Up at the point of manufacture. The service is provided free with an order of 25 or more. Alternatively, a one off charge per set of 20 sequences will apply.

Created with high-end installations in mind and built to European standards, Flexed-Up is perfect for any project that requires complete reliability and control.

Running at 4A per channel, with a total capacity of 12A, Flexed-Up can control up to 10m of high resolution SuperBright RGB60 Flexi-Strip or 20m of RGB30 Flexi-Strip. The latter is Artistic Licence's range of point-sour RGB LEDs on a flexible circuit board and encapsulated within a flexible, clear silicone tube.

Housed in a DIN Rail housing for easy mounting, Flexed-Up can be integrated into a larger or existing system or used on its own.
