Harkness Screens Launches Stagelite Stereo at LDI2012

Harkness Screens, a provider of front and rear projection surfaces to the events industry, will launch its new Stagelite Stereo at this year's LDI Show in booth 657, running October 19-21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada. Stagelite Stereo is suitable for polarized 3D projection systems including RealD.

The surface has already been utilized at the recent Pula Film Festival in Croatia where a large 18.70m x 8.45m helped set a number of Guinness World Records. The large screen wowed both event organizers and crowds alike with its low depolarization rate and wide viewing angles (60 percent), giving an incredible 3D performance.

"In Stagelite Stereo we believe we have a uniquely robust, cleanable, and flexible product that the market has long required for 3D projection and we expect demand for the product to grow as more live events utilize 3D," says Richard Mitchell, worldwide marketing manager, Harkness Screens.

Stagelite Stereo is a front projection surface specifically designed for non-cinema 3D applications. Silver aluminium flake based PVC fixed to a unique base material provides high gain characteristics, very low depolarization level (extinction ratio) and excellent color temperature. Folded and supplied in a parcel or packed in a long wooden box for larger screens, Stagelite Stereo also supports conventional 2D pictures and is also cleanable.
