Abernathy Lighting Design is a lighting design firm that collaborates with architects, designers, engineers, exhibit designers, directors, and producers to visualize and create the lighted environment.

Our design process begins with lighting design concept continuing through final implementation of the design. ALD services include layout, equipment specification, custom fixture design, lighting control concepts, energy analyses, and equipment focusing.

The design is supported with computer aided drafting, analysis, mock-ups, presentation media, and other visual tools to facilitate the communication of lighting concepts.

ALD is a member of the USGBC, TEA, and is certified with the State of Rhode Island as MBE/DBE.
