Profile:
As part of one of the premiere institutions of higher learning, the Department shares the academic and cultural advantages of a comprehensive university. Students can explore virtually every academic discipline through 4,000 courses in more than 150 fields as the experience the full range of theatre arts. The department is in residence at the Krannert Center, which houses four theatres, rehearsal and teaching studios, a color television studio, a computer design center, and five production shops. The department offers BFA and MFA programs in design, technology, and management, acting, theatre studies, and MA and PhD programs in history and literature.
