The University of South Carolina Department of Theatre and Dance offers undergraduate majors in theatre or dance, the MFA degree in acting, design, or directing, as well as MA and MAT degrees.

Our internationally recognized faculty lead an outstanding group of graduate and undergraduate actors, dancers, scholars, and designers, enabling us to provide high-level theatre and dance experiences. We continually endeavor to mount full-scale productions of works that take our audiences and our artists on unexpected excursions that entertain, enlighten, and inspire.
