Profile:
The Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film is a professional training program where students work closely with faculty and guest artists during the year and in the summer with the Nebraska Repertory Theatre. The NRT hires members of AEA, SDC and USA. MFA Designers design in the academic season and are eligible to design for the Nebraska Repertory Theatre seasons. Design for film opportunities are available throughout the course of study. A total of eight plays are produced in 5 spaces annually. Approximately 32 films produced annually. Endowment funds provide annual upgrades in production, technology and instruction.

Accreditations:
Member National Association of Schools of Theatre, University/Resident Theatre Association. Faculty awards/recognitions include the Emmy and Oscar nominations.
