Profile:
The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance is one of the largest theatre and dance departments in the country. With more than 400 students and 50 faculty and staff, the Department offers more than 260 courses each semester. Our MFA programs are ranked eighth in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. With sophisticated technical equipment and state-of-the-art facilities, a 7 million volume UT Library System, unique research resources, and a focus on new and cutting-edge work, UT's Department of Theatre and Dance offers students the opportunity to explore their own intellectual and artistic talents.
