Profile:
The Newmarket Theatre is a fully-equipped 400 seat venue providing the Town of Newmarket and York Region with an affordable rental venue for theatre, dance, music, worship, and business/corporate events. The Newmarket Theatre also produces and presents a range of entertainment choices throughout the year. The Newmarket Theatre is conveniently located just 45 minutes north of Toronto. The Newmarket Theatre is owned and operated by the Town of Newmarket.

Recent Projects:
The Newmarket Theatre currently is the performace home for several local arts groups including Marquee Productions, Aurora Performing Arts Group, Newmarket Stage Company, and Visual and Performing Arts Newmarket. We are also home to several festivals and competitions such as Music Alive, and the York Region Celebration of the Arts. In our past season we played host to John McDermott, Rita MacNeil, The Tartan Terrors, Freddy Vette and the Flames, Ontario Ballet Theatre, Geritol Follies and others.
