Alcorn McBride Announces Electori as Exclusive Distributor in Japan

President of Electori, Takafumi (Ted) Hirakawa, and Larry Howard, sales manager, Alcorn McBride Inc.

Alcorn McBride, a manufacturer of show control and A/V equipment for themed entertainment, has signed Electori as the company's exclusive distributor in Japan. The appointment is effective immediately.

"We were looking for a partner with a dedicated and educated sales force to build sales and support for Alcorn McBride in the Japanese market. Electori's management group is very knowledgeable about our industry, and we feel they will be a great long-term distribution partner for us," says Alcorn McBride sales manager Larry Howard. "In addition, due to the sophistication level of our products, we were very happy to learn that Electori has a great technical staff in-house. High-level support is very important to providing dealers with the expertise that will help them with their projects from the design phase through operation of the installation."

Since its founding in 1964, Electori has been importing, selling, and supporting the world's finest professional sound equipment, consumer audio products, and A/V digital information equipment. The company is well known in the theme park sector, a strong market for Alcorn McBride products. Electori's president is Takafumi (Ted) Hirakawa.

"Our philosophy is quite similar to Alcorn McBride's, and we are pleased to become their new distribution partner," says Yoshifumi Yasui, general manager of Electori's professional sales division. "We truly expect that the outstanding products of Alcorn McBride and our well-respected support system will merge seamlessly. We hope to build a firm foundation for Alcorn McBride in the Japanese entertainment market."
