Theatre Projects Celebrates the Launch of Two New Service Offerings

Continuing its commitment to organizations and venues throughout their entire life cycle, international planning and design firm Theatre Projects announces two new service offerings: Venue Booking & Programming and the Lab. These new opportunities offer a hands-on operational and strategic approach to consulting and cultivating deeper relationships within their partner communities.

As the new head of arts and entertainment programming, Vicki Infinito joins Theatre Projects from the City of Eugene's Hult Center. The Hult Center's former director of programming, Infinito worked closely with clients to develop and grow mission-based and commercially viable programming strategies. She plans to carry this tested expertise to Theatre Projects venues across North America, offering analysis and development of arts and entertainment programming as well as venue booking and programming services.

"Our venue booking and programming has seen significant growth over the past year, and I'm excited to welcome Vicki as part of this expansion. She is an incredible voice to support our partner venues and organizations across the country," shares Gena Buhler, Theatre Projects head of strategy and operations. "Vicki's secondary market experience -- developing both mission and revenue-minded programming -- gives her ground-up expertise from which our clients will benefit significantly."

The inclusion of Venue Booking & Programming in Theatre Projects' Strategy and Operations team has long been part of the firm's growth plan. It marks one more move in a legacy of empathy for and attention to the managerial, operational, and business needs of venues globally. Strategy and Operations works with communities from planning through design and beyond, and the integration of programming across these stages has always been front-of-mind. Infinito now advances this tradition and provides another expert voice for clients to rely on.

"It's wonderful to be part of a company with such a wide view on the challenges facing venues today-a company that understands that venues are the places where people gather, where they share and work, and it's so important to who we are as humans to keep that going," adds Infinito.

Another new division at Theatre Projects is the Lab, an exploratory hub committed to creative solution-making and bringing imagination to life.

"We're really excited to support our clients' ambitions within the built environment. We continue to align with the Theatre Projects values of listening to and responding to the core needs of our partners, always with a non-formulaic approach," notes Brant Underwood, division lead for the Lab.

The Lab is a service almost entirely unique to Theatre Projects. The firm is now taking on any project that happens in the built environment -- be it project development or design-build -- where clients need help moving from concept to execution. Concretely, this can look like strategic planning, design engineering, fabrication & resourcing, and/or implementation & long-term support.

Theatre Projects has proved adept at this work in the past, through crafting immersive environments, designing spaces for art and installation, supporting interactive and technological design in non-traditional venues, working with artists on bespoke fabrication and show execution, and project managing on all manner of tasks in-between. The firm enthusiastically welcomes Underwood's expansive experience as a vital part of their growth.

"I look forward to extending the history and practices of TP into a new area and to providing in-depth experience and creative problem-solving that brings unique objects and experiences to life."
