Techni-Lux to Host 25th Anniversary Open House

Techni-Lux, a provider of advanced lighting technology and accessories, is celebrating its 25th year in operation with a technology fair and open house. Guests will have an opportunity to go hands-on with dozens of products, vendors, and exhibits for entertainment lighting, video, and special effects.

When: Thursday, January 14, 2016
Where: Techni-Lux located at 10900 Palmbay Drive, Orlando, Florida
Time: 10:00am to 6:00pm

Highlights of the open house include industry seminars with Richard Cadena and Techni-Lux' in-house lighting designer, Tony Hansen that will include Protecting the Stage, Why LEDs Still Make Rubber Duckies Evil, and a panel discussion on Lighting the Mouse, Wizard, and Whale. The company's technical department will also offer class sessions throughout the day; Moving Lights 101, Conventional Light Care and Trim, and Basic DMX systems. Additionally there will be two console programming introductions with Philip Watson, of ChamSys USA.

Throughout the day there will be facility tours and a large exhibits area showcasing many new and exciting product lines for attendees to work with and try out for themselves while interacting with company representatives directly. All Techni-Lux lines are key brands which bring unique tools to designers. Representatives will be on hand from all parts of the world to listen, learn, and collaborate with users.

"This year's open house focus will be heavy on the 'hands-on experience'," stated vice president of Techni-Lux, Alex Gonzalez. "We need everyone to handle and use the quality gear we have been known to provide for 25 years. That's really the only way to see, touch, and appreciate the differences."

The open house and exhibits will be free, but registration is required, including all of the seminars and classes, on a first come, first serve basis. There will be snacks and beverages served all day along with lunch from 12:00 to 2:00pm. Raffles and door prizes will be given away hourly.
