GLP Inc.'s Scenex Lighting Expand Pixel LED Tape with Hi Res Options

Higher resolution flexible pixel tape from GLP Inc's Scenex Lighting

Flexible LED Pixel tape from GLP Inc.'s Scenex Lighting division has been used on numerous events, concert tours, and other applications since it was first introduced. Now the company is adding to the range and introducing higher resolution pixel options for greater control and effects, up to pitches of 6.9mm.

Along with the standard 32 LED's per meter (31.25mm pitch), the company now offers tape with 60 LED's per meter (16.6mm pitch), 72 LED's per meter (13.8mm pitch), and 144 LED's per meter (6.9mm pitch) for the real high resolution applications.

Each tape is fully flexible which makes it ideal for integration into set pieces, staging, signage, props, and much more. Directly applied silicone coatings give every tape in the range an IP65 protection rating for outdoor use, and for cosmetic integration each tape can be supplied with a white or black PCB backing.

Some recent applications include concert tours from Chris Isaak, The Presets, OK Go, along with Jason Mraz' recent album launch party for iHeart Radio.

The Scenex Lighting range also offers a selection of diffuser options for times when a softer, blended output is required -- giving great "neon" type output. These are available in both hard and flexible formats and so can be made to fit any design.

Different size pixel pitches can be incorporated together giving detail when and where it's needed. To ease system integration, higher resolution tapes come in lengths already cut for a DMX universe, while lower resolution tapes can be bought in various lengths, by the meter, with every tape having the ability to be cut to fit after every single pixel.

GLP Inc. also offers a range of different power supply and DMX drive options, including Art-Net integration for larger systems. Additionally, the company says GLP will consult and advise on any system design, free of charge and without obligation, in order to help support and make a customer's vision become a reality.

Full specifications and downloads for the entire range of pixel tape can be obtained from GLP Inc. by writing to usa@glp.de , by calling +1 818 767 8899, or visiting their website at the URL below.
