MEGA-LITE's Teclight BVW150 at the Edison Ballroom in NYC

The Edison Ballroom, a renowned venue in the heart of Times Square in New York City, originally opened in the 1930s and has long hosted premiere events. During this year's New York Fashion Week, the venue presented a fashion runway produced by HiTechModa where MEGA-LITE's Teclight BVW150 was incorporated into the lighting design of the show.

Lighting designer Thomas Smith used ten Teclight BVW150 fixtures, integrating them into the existing house rig to illuminate the 48' runway with an even wash. This setup ensured that the models were clearly visible from every angle of the audience.

The Teclight BVW150 is a multipurpose LED fixture equipped with a tunable LED light source, allowing users to manually adjust the color temperature from 2,700K to 7,200K, as well as its intensity. With DMX/RDM control, the fixture is designed to offer flexibility and customization in different applications.

Reflecting on the fixture's performance, Smith comments: "I was blown away by just how powerful they were and the fixtures' ability to evenly wash such a long runway with only five fixtures per side."
