Ayrton to Launch New Products at PLASA London Show

Ayrton will be exhibiting at PLASA, London (October 5 - 8, Stand R70) with an array of new products, all of which have been introduced to the market in the last few months. The new Radical Series and the full NandoBeam Range will both receive their UK premieres, with a world premiere reserved for the launch of the new NandoBeam S9.

The latest in the NandoBeam family, NandoBeam S9 is the big brother of the NandoBeam S3 and NandoBeam S6 LED moving head fixtures. Aimed at large musical, television, and spectacular productions, NandoBeam S9 offers 55 x 15W RGBW LED and 8° to 40° zoom range. NandoBeam's independently controllable center LED and ring configuration ensures the creation of a multitude of graphic effects, the company says.

A new-generation power supply offers over 95% total output efficiency and enables continuous use of its 55 Osram 15W RGBW LED emitters at full power without any loss of performance, the company says. NandoBeam S9 is fitted with an active cooling system using heat transfer fluid with phase change, allowing for heavy use under extreme conditions.

Regarding its 5:1 optical zoom, a solid cluster of 55 lenses help reduce its diameter while a double honeycomb system has been introduced to enhance contrast and eliminate stray reflections.

The main benefit of NandoBeam's optical zoom system, the company says, is constant efficiency regardless of the zoom aperture. The product can obtain a tight beam across its 8° - 40° adjustable beam spread which makes the NandoBeam S9 highly versatile.

NandoBeam S9 features include 55 multi-chip RGBW 15W sources, virtual color wheel, including most common white color temperature preset, zoom: 8° to 40°, single front lens, advanced cooling system based on heatpipe technology, selected ventilation user mode, RJ45 input/output for ArtNet, and DMX5 input/output for DMX and RDM.

Launched in March 2014, Ayrton's Radical Series exhibits a honed and streamlined appearance, a very narrow and intense beam, state-of-the-art thermal management, and an output which increases its scope to suit all arenas and stadiums from small to large, the company says.

Ayrton qualities-like continuous pan and tilt and an intense, narrow beam-are augmented by large 67mm collimated optics and a faster 32-bit circuit board.

Radical Series features include 67mm collimated optics, 4.5° beam, increased center beam intensity of 100 candela per lumen, continuous PAN and TILT rotation (for MagicBlade-R, MagicRing-R9 and MagicPanel-R), reduced visual footprint, fast 32-bit circuit board, improved thermal management, and control via DMX-RDM, ArtNet, KlingNet, and Lumen Radio DMX-RDM wireless.

WildBeam-R is the smallest of the Radical range. Its seven 15W LED RGBW sources and 67mm optics produce 3200 lumens with a center beam intensity of 380,000 candela from a mere 130W of power. The finish and arrangement of the optics and individual control of each source affords numerous original graphic effects.

MagicPanel-R is the Radical sibling of the MagicPanel 602. Fitted with twenty-five 15W LED RGBW sources in a 5 x 5 matrix, MagicPanel-R integrates the R-Series signature features with continuous double rotation on two axes. More clearly defined, cleanly separated beams from the 4.5° optics reinforce 3-D volumetric effects and triple its range. MagicPanel-R is currently touring Europe with TriggerFinger.

The original Stage Classic MagicPanel 602, by contrast, is formed of a 6 x 6 matrix using 45 mm optics that feature a 7.5° beam aperture.

MagicBlade-R presents a new design that, just like MagicPanel 602 and MagicPanel-R, offers continual double rotation on the PAN/TILT axes. Its features include the arrangement of its seven RGBW LED sources in-line.

MagicRing-R9 has an overall flux of 28,000 lumen and a center beam intensity in excess of 3,200,000 candela; it is reserved for extreme uses. Its sixty-one 15W RGBW LED sources are arranged in four rings and can be controlled in modes using from 18 to 256 channels. The power, beam concentration, point-by-point control and LED layout provide numerous new graphic options including multi-color volumetric modelling of the beam. MagicRing-R9 is simultaneously a thing of extravagance and beauty! MagicRing-R9 joins MagicBlade-R on Wiz Khalifa's tour following a successful debut with Rihanna and Eminem on The Monster tour.

IntelliPix-R is a semi-transparent IP65 5 x 5 matrix of RGBW LED sources and the only non-moving member of the Radical Series. Designed for the creation of suspended screens, poles and ceilings, IntelliPix can also be installed on the ground, using a purpose-built accessory, to form a 3-D luminous floor.

IntelliPix-R is the culmination of careful development of ultrasensitive, large-size optics which work with the Radical LED attributes to enable the creation of volumetric color graphic effects. Its integrated power supply means IntelliPix-R can be installed and cabled easily, the company says.
