Ovation Awards Nominees Announced

The Ovation Awards nominees were announced September 22. The awards ceremony, honoring success in areas not among the usual list of nomination categories, will be held November 2. Leading with four nominations each are The Country House and Pray to Ball. For House, the nominees are Peter Kaczorowski for Lighting Design (Large Theatre), John Lee Beatty for Scenic Design (Large Theatre), Jon Gottlieb for Sound Design (Large Theatre), and Rita Ryack for Costume Design (Large Theatre). Representing Ball are Jeff McLaughlin for Scenic Design (Intimate Theatre), Christopher Moscatiello for Sound Design (Intimate Theatre), Kelly Bailey for Costume Design (Intimate Theatre), and Spencer Lee and Hana Kim for Video/Projection Design.

In addition, Jeremy Pivnick was bestowed with three nominees in the Lighting Design (Intimate Theatre) category for three different plays: Everything You Touch, R II, and The Different Shades of Hugh. Additional design nominees include:
