1 SOUND's Cannon Loudspeakers at FSU's Renovated Football Locker Room

Florida State University Seminoles locker room

Pensacola-based All Pro Integrated Systems has deployed 1 SOUND loudspeakers in the Florida State University Seminoles locker room, as part of a complete renovation that also includes team meeting rooms and coaching offices.

The locker room is the centerpiece of the football program. "We wanted [the renovation] to be unique, the showcase of this facility," says Mark Robinson, director of football operations. "We didn't want to model after anyone else. We are one of the top, if not the top, national programs, so we didn't want to model after anyone else."

Robinson says the new system "makes the players and coaches feel great. It's going to help us have a more functional place." He adds it will "be something we can show off when recruits are here."

The company's Cannon C6 coaxial units are deployed throughout the locker room. The high-fidelity C6 has extended low frequency to 60Hz. These small, but loud, speakers, paired with WSUB45 wall subs, provide pre- and post-game hype-music. The units were hung with C-clamps, which allow for easy aiming.

Michael Alford, the school's director of athletics, says the renovation "tells the historic aspects of Florida State football. It also brings the latest technology to our coaching staff. It is something we are really looking forward to sharing with our donors and fans."
