Barbizon Lighting Company Promotions and Additions: Kelsey Renfro, Bob Whittaker, Joshua Fisher

Bob Whittaker, Kelsey Renfro, and Joshua Fisher, Barbizon Lighting Company

The Barbizon Lighting Company announces these employee promotions and additions.

In Orlando, Florida, Kelsey Renfro has been promoted to outside sales representative. Since joining in 2015, Renfro has been an essential part of the growth in the Central and North Florida region for Barbizon Lighting. Initially hired as an account coordinator for the company's themed entertainment markets, Renfro quickly grew into a formidable sales associate and developed her own customer base. In her new role as outside sales representative, Renfro will oversee some of Barbizon's most important accounts.

"From the moment Kelsey joined Barbizon we knew she would excel in her role and become an asset on the front lines of our Central and North Florida sales initiatives," says Jaison O'Connor, sales manager for Barbizon Lighting Florida, "and has such, earned the trust and respect of some of the most prestigious accounts in the industry. Her new role as outside sales representative allows her to be even more effective in the growth of these accounts and focus further on the themed entertainment markets that she has been working with over the last few years."

Also in Orlando, Bob Whittaker joins the operation as branch manager and technical services administrator. Whittaker comes to Barbizon from the Mattie Kelly Arts Center, where he had been serving as the facilities technical director for 22 years. Whittaker will be overseeing the daily Orlando Branch operations, while also supervising the ever-expanding services division in providing repairs, programming, and upgrade needs.

"Bob brings an enormous amount of history and industry knowledge to Barbizon Lighting," says Nicholas Cohen, general manager for Barbizon Lighting Florida. "His passion for ensuring customer satisfaction at the highest level of work matches the Barbizon legacy."

"After 30 years as an end user for lighting products, I am proud to join the Barbizon family," said Whittaker.

In Atlanta, the company welcomes Joshua Fisher to the systems integration team. Fisher brings a depth of architectural and theatrical systems knowledge from his work in the design, installation, and commissioning of control systems from small to very large including museums, churches, schools, casinos, and broadcast studios.

"Barbizon is fortunate to have Joshua's understanding of entertainment systems as his career has spanned the gamut from cocktail-napkin designing with clients, translating that into construction drawing, and even being in the field terminating connections," said systems sales and integration director Jeff Siegel.
