A.C.T Lighting Launches dot2 Preferred Stocking Dealer Program with ILC Chicago as First Participant

ILC is the first preferred stocking dealer for MA Lighting's dot2 with A.C.T Lighting.

Intelligent Lighting Creations (ILC) has become the first member of the dot2 preferred stocking dealer program launched by A.C.T Lighting, Inc. The new program is open to select dealerships, which stock MA Lighting's dot2 family of consoles and offer training and support on the systems. A.C.T Lighting is the exclusive distributor of MA Lighting products in North America.

Chicago-based ILC offers lighting sales, rentals, and entertainment services for a broad array of clients, including schools, churches, theatres, and other venues.

"We're delighted to welcome ILC as the first dot2 preferred stocking dealer," says Brian Dowd, vice president of sales and marketing at A.C.T Lighting. "The program is a new opportunity offered to a core group of dealerships. Participants hold an inventory of dot2 consoles, which allows them to become the go-to stockist for the product."

Program members also offer training on dot2, a range of compact, durable, lightweight, and intuitive consoles designed for small- to medium-size productions. A.C.T Lighting will provide support for joint open houses to introduce ILC clients to the new product line.

"We see dot2 as a turnkey solution for a number of our clients," says Tom Siko, vice president of sales and marketing at ILC. "It's a brilliant console; we're big fans of it. dot2 brings together all the best aspects of the MA console line in a package appropriate for schools, churches, or small theatres."

Siko notes that the dot2 preferred stocking dealer program is off to a good start at ILC. "We've had tremendous success already selling in this program," he reports. "An end user looking for a solution they can acquire quickly can purchase and pick up dot2 from us immediately. And there's a price advantage for end users working directly with ILC."

"In addition," he says, "we will provide training and technical support for dot2. If clients have other equipment needs we can bring together other product lines as well, such as Clay Paky fixtures, which are also represented by A.C.T Lighting."

Siko anticipates "having even more dot2 consoles in our inventory soon," he says. "We look forward to moving ahead with this new cooperative effort with A.C.T." Customers in the Chicago, Wisconsin, or northern Indiana area, interested in a demo or purchase of the dot2 products can contact ILC at tom@intelligentlighting.com or (847) 933-9710.
