dBTechnologies Announces Innovations at Frankfurt

Italian loudspeaker manufacturer, dBTechnologies, plans to unveil a wide selection of new products at this year's Pro Light + Sound exhibition, to be held March 21-24 in Frankfurt. dBTechnologies will welcome visitors to its 780-sq.-m. booth space in Hall 8, G70 shared with cousin brand RCF.

Amongst the professional audio offerings, comes the upgraded Opera DX line, billed by the company as the next chapter of the celebrated Opera series' 12-year success story. Opera DX has been augmented with in-house developed digiproG2 power amps and other features which improve overall performance. Continuing to be unrivalled in its price range, Opera DX offer tailored solutions for every sound reinforcement application, the company says.

Rental and installation customers can also anticipate the launch of three brand new DVA subs. The DVA S1521N is a powered 21" subwoofer, housed in a bass reflex enclosure and with 1500W RMS power. Or the DVA S2585N, a compact subsystem featuring a cardioid layout designed for directivity, thus removing the likelihood of interference and annoying noise. All the new subs are driven by high performance digiproG2 Class-D digital power amps, equipped with PFC switched-mode power supplies and are fully compatible and ready for integration with DVA T12 systems, the company says.
