Analog Way to Introduce Ascender 48

Analog Way will showcase the Ascender 48 in Perspective Layers mode during InfoComm 2015 at booth #1715 from June 17 - 19, 2015, in Orlando, FL.

The Ascender 48 (Ref. ASC4806) is a multi-screen seamless switcher equipped with 48 scaler engines. The product offers various display configurations to fit any application: Mixer, Hybrid, Hard Edge, and Soft-Edge, the company says. Available as an option for all Ascender 48 units including units already in the field, Perspective Layers allows animation of live layers with a virtual viewing perspective in real time with X, Y, Z axis rotation control.

In Perspective mode, the Ascender 48 can display up to 3 Perspective Layers per output, plus a native background. The Perspective Layers can support the same seamless transition effects as with any other layer. Using the Monitoring output, the operator can display the Perspective Layers on preview in real time in order to see and arrange all layers and presets as needed. The Advanced Layer Management ensures the highest flexibility, the company says: when one output is disabled its layers can be added to another output resulting in up to 12 Perspective Layers on a single output.

Creation and management of the Perspective Layers can be managed directly from the Ascender 48's Web RCS, a user-friendly interface, through a section specifically dedicated to the Perspective Layers. The Perspective Layer feature is available only on Ascender 48K - 4K units, so any Ascender 48 upgraded to add the Perspective Layer mode will automatically include the 4K option.

To show the capabilities of the Ascender 48 in Perspective Layers mode, a hands-on demo using Advanced Layer Management via the Web RCS touch screen will be available at Analog Way's booth, #1715.
