Circa Survive Add an Extra Circa from Mega-Lite Circa Survive is an American rock band that has progressively made a name for itself in the indie music scene. During a course of six weeks, they were among several other bands that were featured in the Rockstar Disrupt Festival tour. Squeek Lights has provided full lighting services for many years and designed several tours, decided to coincidentally add another Circa on this tour stage, the Mega-Lite Circa Scoop LED. The Circa Scoop LED is a next-level unit designed with four different elements and a variety of technological components that add a one of a kind look to any application. It features 45 WW and Amber LEDs in the center engine, 87 WW LEDs in the reflective pattern ring, 144 RGB LEDs in the inner ring, and 192 RGB LEDs on the outer ring. It can produce multiple color combinations and facilitate the ability to create authentic looks that can be used as dazzling eye-candy effects. The unit was chosen by lighting designer Lenny Sasso because of its brightness and ability to create different chase effects. "I was blown away by the Circa Scoop. I decided to go with the fixture because I knew that a good portion of Circa Survive's set times were going to be during the day. My thoughts were that this would be the perfect fixture to use regardless of the time of the bands set, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The Circa Scoop was so bright during the day it filled the entire stage during the night sets," said Sasso. "As far as programming goes, I decided to run the Circa Scoop in the 55 ch. mode which allowed me to do all kinds of beautiful full stage sweeps and chases. I had several looks where I had multiple chases going on per fixture. There were so many options, I felt like I barely scratched the surface. I was able to give every song its own unique look. Such a great fixture!" With the ability to bring every song to life even in broad daylight, Sasso stands by his choice of adding the Circa Scoop LED to his light show. "I am extremely satisfied, I will 100% use this fixture time and time again!"
