Chauvet Professional to Sponsor Eight Seminars and Panels at WFX

Chauvet Professional is sponsoring a series of eight lighting seminars and panel discussions at the WFX Show on Wednesday September 21 and Thursday September 22. Taking place at Demo Room SWC102 at the Kentucky Exposition Center, the sessions will feature tech leaders from some of the most prominent churches in the US, including Justin Firesheets from Church of the Highlands, Daniel Connell consultant to Church on the Move, Mike Frost from The Crossing, and David Luechsener of Gateway Church Dallas.

In addition to sessions by these church tech leaders, the Chauvet WFX series of educational sessions will include a panel discussion on Christmas concert lighting featuring Andy Rushing, lighting designer for Grammy Award winners Kari Jobe and Lauren Daigle; Craig Rutherford, designer for Big Daddy Weave; and Bobby Dennis, technical director of The Heights Baptist Church.

Other sessions include: "Special Event Youth Lighting," featuring Aaron Cole, lighting designer for Love is Red, the largest Christian youth conference in the Midwest; "Watt Reduction," a guide to LED conversion by well-known consultant Duke DeJong; and a Guide to LED Lighting presented by designer and write Greg Persinger of Vivid Illumination.

"The WFX sessions are part of our commitment to fostering education in the church lighting market," says Berenice Chauvet, vice president of Chauvet. "We were very encouraged by the response to our WFX educational sessions last year, which drew standing room-only crowds. To us, this response illustrated the great demand that exists for education within the church community. As a company, we don't only want to provide our customers with quality and affordable LED fixtures, we also want to share practical ideas on how they can use lighting to enhance the worship experience. This is at the heart of our WFX educational sessions."
