Genelec Hosting Webinar About the W371 Adaptive Woofer System on Thursday, May 14

On Thursday, May 14, 2020, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm EDT, Genelec will be hosting an exclusive online tutorial, "G*Connect Webinar: Transforming the LF performance of your room: Meet the W371," hosted by Will Eggleston and Paul Stewart.

On Thursday, May 14, 2020, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm Eastern Daylight Time, Genelec will be hosting an exclusive online tutorial, "G*Connect Webinar: Transforming the LF performance of your room: Meet the W371," hosted by Paul Stewart (Genelec Inc. senior technical sales manager) and Will Eggleston (Genelec Inc. marketing director). Register now at http://register.gotowebinar.com/register/8449341546397558032.

The W371 Adaptive Woofer System seamlessly complements Genelec's 8341, 8351, and 8361 monitors to create a series of free-standing full-range monitoring solutions. But unlike a traditional subwoofer, the W371 delivers supreme directivity and control over the negative effects of a room's acoustics. It truly is a unique piece of technology.

In this G*Connect webinar, Stewart and Eggleston will show attendees exactly what the W371 does, and how it works. They'll explain why it was created, whom it's designed for, and how it can transform the LF performance of a room -- helping users to produce mixes that translate beautifully to other loudspeaker systems.

Meet the presenters:
Stewart is senior technical sales manager at Genelec USA. A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Stewart draws on 25 years of experience in supplying high-end production facilities and individual artists around the globe. Prior to joining Genelec, he worked as a consultant providing design expertise from equipment specification to layout and system integration. Over the years, Stewart has designed and installed numerous audio systems for music recording, home theater, and multi-media.

Genelec's US marketing director, Eggleston is a 25-year veteran at Genelec. His involvement with the Smart Active Monitoring range goes back to the early 2000s, when the products were first being specified. Eggleston's professional history spans radio-telephone engineering, live and studio TV audio production, commercial post-production, music recording, studio design, and product development. Eggleston is a strong advocate for the customer who is looking to get the most out of their purchases.
