Crawford has spent the last 21 seasons as the lighting director of the famed Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre where he oversees and maintains the integrity of the lighting designs for the historic performance pieces as they are performed around the world. He is also the founder of Arc3design, a lighting design company where he and his team have created installations for dance, theatre, architecture, concerts, broadcast, immersive experiences, and events.
