New Exhibitors Line Up for PLASA Focus: Stamford

Momentum for PLASA Focus: Stamford 2012 is growing fast with a host of new exhibitors choosing their positions on the show floor. The free two-day event takes place November 12-13 at the Stamford Marriott, Connecticut, and will showcase the very latest in theatre and event production technology.

Confirmed exhibitors already include: coolux, Elation Professional, Rosco Laboratories, BMI Supply, Clay Paky, acouStaCorp, Lex Products, Barbizon, Limelight Productions, ALPS, Ultratec Special Effects, Drape Kings, iWeiss, LynTec, Navigator Systems, Production Advantage, A.C. Lighting, TMB, Syracuse Scenery, Applied Electronics, Robert Juliat, CAST, A.C.T Lighting, MDG Fog Generators, Avolites, Wireless Solution, JB-Lighting, Creative Stage Lighting, Thern Stage Equipment, and High End, with many more applications being processed.

The "new style" of event is designed to bring the very best in new products, services, education, and networking to the heart of the regional entertainment community -- giving an intimate space in which to interact, learn, and conduct business. PLASA Focus events have already proven to be a popular choice for exhibitors and visitors alike, and Stamford follows in the wake of shows held earlier in the year in Austin, Texas and Nashville, Tennessee.

The unique hassle-free booth system provides a new level playing field for exhibitors, and is attracting interest from first time exhibitors, including regional production companies and distributors, as well as manufacturers and rental companies. This wide scope will attract a broad cross-section of the theatre and entertainment technology community in New York and the neighboring states, from students and end users to consultants, buyers, and freelancers.

For visitors, there will be many opportunities to engage with peers and meet new people, including a free two-day education and learning program, with specialized individual seminars created by the industry's leading talents. Visitors should register online today at the URL below to be the first to receive major new announcements in the weeks ahead.
