Tüchler Bühnen- & Textiltechnik GmbH Exhibits for First Time at PLASA 2012

Austrian manufacturer of flame retardant fabrics, dance and stage flooring, and stage technology solutions, Tüchler Bühnen- & Textiltechnik GmbH, will be making its first appearance as an exhibitor at PLASA 2012, at London's Earls Court, September 9-12 in stand 2-R10.

Tüchler has specialized in textiles, flame retardant, projection screens, and performance flooring since the 1970s. Its products are called for in theatres, stages, operas, event centers, dance and ballet schools, television studios and multi-purpose halls, as well as by event organizers, rental companies, architects, and planners.

The 1990s saw Tüchler's product portfolio expand to incorporate stage technology solutions including chain hoists, curtain tracks, and stage platforms.

Now a top vendor of specialist products in Germany, Tüchler's international customer base extends to Japan, Korea, Australia, Spain, Italy, England, Russia, Scandinavia, and many more countries and regions around the world.

Tüchler also provides complete solutions for projects that cover everything from engineering to installation. Recent projects include the provision of an acoustic membrane absorber ceiling at the Aquatic Centre Graz in Eggenberg, Austria, a fly bar system at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, and a portable alternative venue of the Deutsches Theater in Munich.

PLASA 2012 will see the most comprehensive display of Tüchler's products in the UK to date. The stand, 2-R10, will concentrate on core products from its specialist ranges of projection screens, flooring, and textiles.

Tüchler has Europe's largest selection of dance, theatre, ballet, sprung and event flooring, samples of which will be on show; textiles, foils and effects materials on display will include examples of the wash-proof, flame-retardant, cotton velour AMADEE WP, the unique non-slip floor cloth KOMBI PERFEKT, and old favorites from the Scenario collection; last but not least, Tüchler's Ecogard Flame Retardant is a safe flame retardant, that is easy to use, and has the highest environmental and skin tolerance, the company says.

Also at the show will be Tüchler's range of stage technology products including the new TopKAT chain hoists, XT and TT curtain track systems, RZ drape systems, and the Stage Platform Zoom 1200 which received a fantastic response at ABTT 2012.
