LRLR Registration Deadline for Riders Approaching

2016 Long Reach Long Riders' tour

The deadline for registering to ride with the 2019 Long Reach Long Riders is June 1. Applications received after June 1 may not be accepted, depending on the number of available hotel rooms along the route.

The ride, aptly named the Altimeter Tour, begins on July 6 in Denver, Colorado and returns to Denver on July 13. The route winds through the scenic Rocky Mountains and will have an average daily peak elevation of about 12,000'. The two highest points will be Pikes Peak at 14,115' and Mt. Evans at 14,065'.

Ride marshal Jon Kirchofer noted, "In addition to the Rocky Mountains, we'll also visit Silverton, an historic silver mining town and Aspen, a town with a more modern personality."

The Long Reach Long Riders annual charity motorcycle ride benefits Behind the Scenes and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. What began in 2004 as a single event has become an annual ride that has raised over $650,000 for the two charities. Please visit the URL below for more information on the 16th annual ride, to join the ride, or make a donation.
