Opus - German Stage Award: New Rules Allow Individual and Team Entries at Prolight + Sound

The Opus - German Stage Award is given for outstanding artistic achievements in the use of professional event technology. It is awarded annually at Prolight + Sound, the international trade fair of technologies and services for entertainment, integrated systems, and creation. With a change in the competition rules this year, it is now also possible for groups to submit projects -- i.e. award winners can be individuals, project teams, or companies. Entries can be submitted now at www.prolight-sound.com/awards

The award ceremony will take place on April 6, 2017 in the Saal Europa at Messe Frankfurt.

The deadline for entries is November 4, 2016.

The possibility to enter actively for the award was introduced last year. Previously, projects were nominated solely by an expert jury. With numerous high-calibre entries, this new development proved very successful in its first year.
