ILDA Offers Laser Safety Training Courses at LDI 2013 in Las Vegas

The International Laser Display Association (ILDA), the trade association for laser entertainment and displays, announces they have joined forces with exhibition company LDI, to host a series of laser safety training courses and an open house event, during the 2013 LDI exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada in November of this year.

With the popularity of laser shows growing worldwide, the need for proper laser safety training and education has become increasingly important. Since it's founding in 1986, ILDA has been a leading advocate in the promotion of laser safety.

Both ILDA and LDI believe that the laser safety courses and open house event present great opportunities for both performing laser show operators, and those interested in entering the business, to come and learn more about laser safety, the benefits of ILDA membership, and laser show technology in general.

ILDA Open House
Friday, November 22, from 5:15 - 8pm
In addition, ILDA and LDI will be hosting an open house event on Friday, November 22 (starting at 5:15pm), where consumers interested in getting into lasers or in joining the ILDA membership, can come and speak with the ILDA board and executive director, as well as meeting other professional laserists to talk "shop." During the open house, ILDA will also be showcasing a variety of videos from the 2013 ILDA awards conference, which will take place just before LDI in Aalen, Germany (more information about the ILDA Conference can be found online here: http://www.laserist.org/c2013-overview.htm).
