Something Rotten Gets Fresh Start at Outer Critics Circle Awards

The nominees for the 65th annual Outer Critics Circle Awards were announced April 20. The awards, honoring excellence in the field of theatre, will be presented May 21 at Sardi's Restaurant at 4pm. Something Rotten! leads the Design categories with three nominees for a Play or Musical -- Scott Pask for Outstanding Set Design, Gregg Barnes for Outstanding Costume Design, and Jeff Croiter for Outstanding Lighting Design.

Additional nominees in the Design categories include:

Bunny Christie, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
Bob Crowley, An American in Paris
David Rockwell, On the Twentieth Century

Outstanding Costume Design (Play or Musical)

William Ivey Long, On the Twentieth Century
Christopher Orem, Wolf Hall
Catherine Zuber, The King and I

Outstanding Lighting Design (Play or Musical)
Paule Constable, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
