Rose Brand Acquires Decorative Novelty Rain Curtain Manufacturer

Rose Brand expands its curtain manufacturing capabilities with the acquisition of Decorative Novelty. Rose Brand president Josh Jacobstein says, "Decorative Novelty is a good fit for us in a number of ways. They produce a higher quality, custom rain curtain, and this helps us meet the growing demand that we have for products of this nature. It also enhances our ability to turn around rapidly, which is so important to our customers today."

Rain curtains (also called fringe curtains) are made of a colored film material that's slit vertically into thin strips. The film is finished to be bright, shiny, colorful, and reflective. When manufactured into curtains, the material promotes a festive, party atmosphere. The curtains are offered in several dozen colors that are often mixed and matched, as well as a variety of thicknesses based on the number of layers customers desire.

The acquisition moves Decorative Novelty from its former home in Brooklyn to the Rose Brand headquarters in Secaucus, New Jersey in order to improve operational efficiency. The acquired company is up and running without a hitch in its new location, under Rose Brand management, as of the beginning of the year.
