Design Oasis Uses Chauvet Professional Video Panels at AllSaints Las Vegas Store

AllSaints store in Ceasars' Palace with Chauvet Professional's PVP S7 panels.

Since its founding in 1994, British fashion retailer AllSaints has earned a passionate following for its celebration of design-inspired style and unfettered individuality in men's and women's apparel. The same creative energy is evident in the company's new 12,000sq.-ft. Las Vegas flagship store. An impressive multi-level structure, the store has a variety of features that captivate visitors to the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace; among them is a dynamic LED video wall made with PVP S7 panels from Chauvet Professional.

The 7.8mm pixel pitch panels were used to create a three-sectioned 38.2' wide by 6.5' high video wall facing out to the Caesars Forum Shops mall from the store's second level. "It makes a powerful impression," said Abbas Ritscher of The Design Oasis in Davie, Florida, which provided the PVP S7 panels.

Ritscher, who was the video engineer in charge of this project, credits the AllSaints in-house design team with creating the compelling video display. "Anyone familiar with the AllSaints story knows that this is a company guided by vision," he said. "The content displayed on the panels was created and executed by the AllSaints in-house team to build on the design concept that runs throughout the store, which is very forward looking and individualistic."

The AllSaints team that created the video panel content was led by Tim Sharp, the company's global director of store design and construction, along with Katie Farmer, Samantha Spink, Zoe Brimmel, and Andy Canning. "It was a lot of fun working with this team," said Ritscher. "They had a very well-developed vision of what they wanted to achieve, and we worked with them to turn it into a reality on the PVP S7 panels. It's easy to program content on these panels."

Ritscher was very pleased with the consistent color rendering across all the PVP S7 panels and the crisp images that resulted from their high contrast ratio. "With the panels being positioned on the second level, we were able to have more than enough resolution and clarity with the 7.8mm pixel pitch," he said. "Everyone has been pleased with the way the graphics and video look on this wall."

The PVP S7 panels also earned Ritscher's praise for being easy to install. "Features like the integrated handles and auto aligned housing made the installation process go very smoothly," he said. "Raul Garcia of PPD Construction Services did a great job supervising the install, and Daniele Alfonso of The Design Oasis was instrumental in making this entire project happen."

As for the AllSaints store itself, once visitors to the Caesars Forum Shops mall walk through its doors, they'll not only encounter refreshingly original and stylish fashion, but also an engrossing retail environment with unique flares like an 8' by 4' sewing machine table originally constructed in 1906 to make sails for ships, and a traditional English red telephone booth modified to house an interactive display that will allow customers to shop online, in-store.

"This was a store designed with a clear vision in mind," said Ritscher. The company says it's a vision that's supported by every element in the store, including the prominent PVP S7 wall capturing the attention of everyone who passes by.
