Behringer Expands ULM Wireless Series

Behringer announces that the company's new Ultralink ULM Wireless Series has something for virtually every member in the band. No matter whether the guitarist, bassist, or vocalist wants the freedom to roam the stage, or the audience -- the company says "there's a ULM for that."

Behringer's new ULM200MIC, pairs a single wireless mic with the ULM200R single-channel receiver. The ULM202MIC comes with two high-quality handheld wireless mics and a dedicated dual-channel receiver for the times when the user needs capability for two vocalists. Public speakers will enjoy the simplicity of the ULM200LAV package, which pairs a lavalier mic and belt-pack transmitter with a single-channel receiver. Guitarists and bass players are also cut loose to work the room thanks to the ULM200GTR, which pairs a belt-pack transmitter with a dedicated single-channel receiver.

All microphones contain transmitters operating in the 2.4 GHz range, well out of the TV and cell phone transmission bands, for the ultimate in high-definition performance. And because all signals are digitally encrypted, highest-quality reception is ensured -- without the random artifacts often common in competing wireless systems.

All systems have a range of up to 400' (120m), and feature dual-diversity technology that allows them to track the user's every move, whether the performance takes place at center stage -- or at the back of the room. Convenient front-panel LEDs on the receiver show signal presence and strength, while indicators on the transmitter tell at a glance when it's time to change batteries. Audio outputs are balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4-inch TS, allowing connection to PA and conference room systems, or high-quality instrument amplifiers.
