NicLen Invests in New Cameo Spotlights OPUS, EVOS, and F4 Series

Cameo made its debut in NicLen GmbH's huge rental park at the end of 2018 with the ZENIT series. Germany's dry hire service has stocked up several times since then. The dry hire range now includes ZENIT W600 and W300 outdoor wash lights, the battery-powered ZENIT B200, OPUS series' moving heads, and F series' Fresnel spotlights. NicLen is making its mark with its investment and fitting out its Cameo portfolio with the current lighting technology flagships of the Adam Hall brand. This includes OPUS X P profile moving heads, OPUS H5 beam spot wash hybrid moving heads, EVOS W7 wash-beam moving lights with warm white LED, and the new F4 series in the 2kW class.

Cameo will showcase its new flagship product -- the OPUS X Profile -- for the first time ever in Europe at this year's ISE 2020 in Amsterdam. NicLen will start carrying the high-power moving head with 750W white light LED starting in the first quarter of 2020. The OPUS X Profile combines a CMY color blending system and a large 6-degree to 46-degree zoom range to guarantee even projections without disruptive hotspots in even the most demanding environments.

Also new at NicLen is the OPUS H5 -- the Swiss army knife among Cameo moving heads. The versatile beam, spotlight, and wash light hybrid with a light output of 18,000lm didn't only win over the specialists at NicLen with its compact size. It also produces powerful beams of light with its Osram Sirius HRI 470 W discharge lamp to create high-quality mid-air effects over wide zoom range of 2 degrees to 42 degrees.

The EVOS W7 is a RGBW LED wash-beam moving head with single pixel control that stands out with natural-looking LED light generated by the built-in warm white LED. Compared to other devices, the Cameo EVOS W7 offers a particularly high color rendering index and makes natural illumination in RGB, warm white, and pastel shades as well as creative pixel effects possible with its individually controllable 40W RGBW LEDs.

Cameo's F4 series unveiled for the first time at the LDI 2019 in Las Vegas. NicLen went full out shortly thereafter, and it now offers its customers in the theater and TV business all three LED Fresnel spotlights in Tungsten (3,200K warm white), Daylight (5,600K cool white), and RGBW Full-Color with an adjustable white function (1,600K to 6,500K). The F4 series replaces conventional 2kW halogen Fresnel lights and features a highly efficient heat pipe cooling system and a quiet silent mode, making it the perfect choice for especially noise-sensitive environments.

"Cameo's portfolio of lighting technology grows increasingly diverse each year. The developers continue to amaze us with innovative solutions that comprehensively cover the needs of our broad-based clientele," says Nico Valasik, who, in collaboration with Jörg Stöppler, is responsible for managing NicLen GmbH. "In addition to the OPUS moving heads, which have proven to be real all-rounders in the past, the EVOS W7 really made quite the impression on us with its integrated warm white LED; it's quite a useful version that isn't common on the market. An extremely trusting partnership, which we very much appreciate, has also blossomed over the years with the Adam Hall Group."

Cameo OPUS X, OPUS H5, EVOS W7, and F4 series spotlights will be available for rental from NicLen's dry hire business starting in Q1 2020.

Visitors to this year's Integrated Systems Europe 2020 in Amsterdam will be able to experience the extensive Cameo portfolio of spotlights at the Adam Hall Group stand (7-W200) from February 11 to 14.
