Illuminating Concepts Helps Create Unique Guest Experiences on Las Vegas Strip

Brooklyn Bowl on the Las Vegas Strip

Illuminating Concepts (IC), a full-service lighting and multi-media design firm, says it has capitalized on the creativity and unique set of talents and skill sets within the company to refocus the guest experience within the architectural environment. IC says it "creates integrated and holistic designs that breathe energy and life into their projects." Recent examples of this work include The QUAD remodel (formerly Imperial Palace); the LINQ promenade-Caesar Entertainments newest shopping, dining, and entertainment district; and its tenants "wheelhouse" for the High Roller and Brooklyn Bowl.

The 80,000-sq.-ft. Brooklyn Bowl features live music, bowling, nightlife, and gourmet dining -- and is an off-shoot of its popular New York location. The Bowl offers 32 bowling alleys and a 2,000 person capacity music venue along with Blue Ribbon -- with popular "comfort-food" fare. IC designed the architectural lighting, performance lighting, house audio/video, control systems, and provided procurement services, project management, and programming.

The "wheelhouse" is the five-story component of the High Roller -- the world's tallest observation wheel. Guests experience the neo-futurism look of the structure and interact with other riders prior to boarding the attraction. IC designed the architectural and special effects lighting and control throughout this facility which also has retail, two lounges, observation decks, and special event spaces and provided procurement services, project management, and programming.

The company says IC's "breadth of services allows them to uniquely position themselves as a one stop shop," and their in-house team of diverse professionals support the client and design team from the initial design collaboration, documentation and cost analysis, through procurement, construction support, and on-site creative programming and focusing services. This approach allows for the development of immersion experiences highlighted by a single integrated team working together to provide the client with a full array of services necessary to create sensory environments with sustainable technology.
