ETC Is Ready for Its Close-Up at Cine Gear Expo LA 2015

ETC's Source Four LED Series 2 system

At the Cine Gear Expo, June 5 - 6, at The Studios at Paramount in Hollywood, California, attendees can get demos of ETC's latest broadcast -lighting innovations. Booth S322 will be packed with new products, including recently released fixtures, power-control systems, and lighting-control gear.

ETC's Source Four LED system brings convenience, energy savings, and unbelievable color flexibility to any broadcast application. The Source Four LED Series 2 luminaire comes in three arrays: Lustr for the broadest color range and most accurate color mixing possible from an LED, and Daylight HD and Tungsten HD, which create color-spectrum-specific, adjustable white light that looks flawless on camera. Each Source Four LED light engine accepts accessories, fixed-focus and zoom lens tubes, and Source Four LED CYC and Fresnel adapters. Because one light can be used for so many applications, the Source Four LED system means less gear is needed for on-location shoots. And thanks to its plug-and-play flexibility, the luminaires set up quickly. At Cine Gear, attendees will see how the Source Four LED system adds incredible versatility to any gaffer's toolkit.

Also on ETC's stand will be the new ColorSource PAR LED luminaire. Its red, green, blue, and lime emitters are perfectly balanced to produce richer, more natural light than other four-color LEDs. "Built at our Wisconsin-based factory and supported by our 24/7/365 industry-leading technical services department, the ColorSource PAR brings bright, energy-efficient lighting within reach for studios and shoots with tight budgets," explains ETC entertainment market manager Matt Armendariz-Kerr.

Visitors to ETC's booth will also have the opportunity to see the popular Gio lighting-control desk. The perfect size to carry from set to set in a large studio or to be transported from one location to another, Gio has an accessible control surface, a solid-state hard drive, backlit buttons, and integrated, articulating multi-touch displays for the fastest programming.

Running alongside the Gio console will be the ETCnomad Puck mini-controller. "ETCnomad Puck is great for programmers who are constantly on the go," says ETC field project coordinator David Hilton. "It can be tossed in a backpack or suitcase and used to run shows from anywhere -- no console necessary." ETCnomad Puck offers both Eos- and Cobalt-family software, giving programmers the ability to choose the operational style they need for each task. Available in four output counts, it is a secure device that only allows ETC applications to be downloaded, keeping show information safe.

These products and more will be on display at the Cine Gear Expo, and more information about them can be found at the URL below.
