Solotech Integrates Audiovisual and High-End Control Systems for Québec City Convention Centre

Recently, Solotech ensured the installation and programming of technological equipment for the expansion of the Québec City Convention Centre for the Société immobilière du Québec.

A sound system of 360 speakers, digital signage network of 57 LED monitors, four large video walls, lighting control, an AVB audio system, a videoconference room, and a control system with touch panel. That is the long list of equipment Solotech integrated to provide a simple and user friendly interface.

Jean-François Huot, the Solotech sales consultant on the project conducted in May 2014, mentions: "the customer wanted to be able to control with a touch panel the architectural lighting, heating, sound, video conferencing, and other components. All communications are done via the AVB/BackNet/internet network to allow a centralized communication across the sector 300 of the facility. This pioneering system was successfully implemented by our team who has the necessary know-how and expertise to accomplish a high-quality integration."
