Stagetec NEXUS Makes a Guest Appearance on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Show during Super Bowl Week

As the fight for the NFL's most sought after title heats up, the teams, press, and fans are not the only ones descending on Indianapolis, the host city of Super Bowl XLVI. This year, television late night host Jimmy Fallon will be broadcasting four shows February 1, 2, 3 and 5th from the Hilbert Circle Theatre in the heart of Indianapolis.

The mandate was to replicate the studio setup of the regular Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Show, normally broadcast from NBC Studios at 30 Rock. Nathaniel Hare, who is the front of house mixer for the regular show, was tapped as the sound designer for the four dates (three live-to-disc and then the live show post the big game). Wiress First, a Clair Global company, was selected to supply all of the equipment for the temporary installation.

Hare decided on NEXUS to provide the backbone of the audio routing. "As the show after the Super Bowl is going to be live, I need to be 150% sure that there will be no equipment failures" states Hare, "The Nexus not only has complete redundancy built in but it's track record on reliability speaks for itself."
