All Important Key Players in the Sector Represented at Prolight + Sound 2017

Once again, Prolight + Sound is set to become the sector's focal point as regards event and AV media technology. The key players from all sections of the industry have announced their intention to exhibit at the event from April 4-7, 2017 -- more than 90 percent of the exhibition space used last year has already been booked. This positive development applies to all product groups, from lighting and effects to broadcasting and recording and theatre and stage.

"The high levels of interest on the part of exhibitors impressively underlines the relevance of Prolight + Sound for the entire industry," says Michael Biwer, group show director of the entertainment, media and creative industries division at Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH. "In the wake of the positive development which the sector is experiencing, companies are taking advantage of this unique worldwide trade and marketing platform to promote their innovations to an international professional public, including wholesalers and retailers, distributors, professional users and media representatives, as well as to make contact with young talents and potential new members of the industry.

Among the companies that have already signed up are major names in the sector such as Adam Hall, Amptown, Audio-Technica, Ayrton, Chain Master, Coda Audio, Digico, ETC, FBT Elettronica, Gerriets, GLP German Light Products, JB-Lighting, L-Acoustics, Lawo, MA Lighting, Martin Professional, Meyer Sound, Monacor International, Music & Lights, Nivtec-Flexibel, Panasonic, Prolyte Group, ROBE Lighting, Sennheiser, SGM Light, and many others. Moreover, many companies are promoting themselves, their products and services in larger stands than last year. The move to the eastern section of the exhibition grounds, in 2016, paved the way for further extension of the product portfolio in both breadth and depth. In the end, a total of 940 companies from 47 countries presented themselves, their products and services at the event. Some 44,000 members of the sector, from 121 countries, came to get information about new products and to take advantage of the extensive program of professional development opportunities on offer.
