Lightware Showcases New Products at InfoComm 2015

Lightware Visual Engineering plans a product-filled InfoComm 2015, where it will showcase its new SW4-TPS-TX240 to HDBaseT transmitter, the MMX6x2-HT matrix switcher family, and the latest MODEX input module in booth 4069. InfoComm 2015 will be held June 13-19 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Lightware USA is the US sales and support office for Lightware products.

Lightware continues to expand its support of HDBaseT with the introduction of the SW4-TPS-TX240, an all-around video, audio, and control transmitter for DisplayPort, HDMI, and DVI using a single CAT cable up to 550' in distance. It is designed for ever-changing environments, such as small boardrooms and classrooms. It is compatible with other Lightware HDBaseT extenders and matrix switchers; the futureproof unit supports 3D and 4K/UHD.

The MMX6x2-HT family fills the need for practical matrix switchers designed for smaller meeting room and classroom environments. The compact MMX6x2-HT220 standalone matrix switcher, in a 1-RU chassis, has many unique features, including six video inputs (four HDMI and two TPS HDBaseT) and two independent HDMI video outputs, which both have mirrored TPS (HDBaseT) outputs. It supports 4K@30Hz, 3D, and HDCP. Also in the switcher family are the HT210 with a single mirrored TPS output and the HT200 with only HDMI outputs.

MODEX-AV-5HDMI-4K-IM-LH marks the continued growth of Lightware's Modular Extender (MODEX) family of multi-format signal extenders with modular capabilities. Unique and powerful in many ways, MODEX eliminates the need to invest in discrete units for different types of connections. The full range of MODEX modular transmitters and receivers interfaces with Lightware's 25G Hybrid line of digital matrix switchers or act as standalone extenders for users who need to transport digital and analog video, audio or data signals over a single Cat5/6/7 or fiber optic cable.

The new MODEX-AV-5HDMI-4K-IM-LH is a 4K UHD video module with five HDMI input connectors and one local HDMI output connector. Resolution of up to 4K UHD is provided on both the inputs and the output; the unit also offers 3D support. It is expected to ship in August.
