Renowned architect Hugh Hardy will give the closing speech of the North American Theatre Engineering and Architecture Conference (NATEAC) on Monday night, July 23, 2012, at Sardi's Restaurant in New York City. Hardy, a leader in the planning and design of active public spaces throughout North America, has been responsible for the design of numerous performance spaces including LCT3 at Lincoln Center, Radio City Music Hall, Brooklyn Academy, Signature Theatre in New York City, and The Tobacco Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York.

Among the many awards Hardy and his firm, H3 Hardy Collaborative Architecture, have recently received are the Society of American Registered Architects National Design Award, Interior Architecture Category, for the DiMenna Center for Classical Music, and the AIA Tri-State Design Award for the Tobacco Warehouse.

Sardi's is the traditional location for the NATEAC closing dinner. The iconic restaurant has been synonymous with Broadway and the theatre since it opened in 1927.
