Event Safety Alliance Announces Initial Appointments to Newly Launched Advisory Council

The Event Safety Alliance yesterday announced the appointment of several industry leaders to its newly-formed advisory council.

The council will play a vital role setting the strategic vision and long term objectives for the ESA, guiding development of critical programs, and procuring human and financial resources to continue the growth and relevance of organization.

"The advisory council is an important next-step in the ongoing mission of the ESA to advocate, inspire, and develop resources for the increasingly wide definition of the entertainment industries and the necessary maturation of safety protocols. We are humbled by the desire of this collection of thought leaders to lend their energy and voice to the mission," stated ESA founder and chairman Jim Digby. "As we expand to address the ever-changing landscape we must ensure the organization reflects the tremendous depth and diversity of our industry and meets the needs of the majority. Their commitment to serve is continued evidence of ESA's importance in creating a healthy future for our industry, council members will help the organization pursue an ambitious list of projects while aggressively promoting positive cultural change."

Initial appointments to the ESA advisory council include:

Jimmy Chan (ESA Asia)

Davin Ramsaroop (Full Sail University)
Tami Richter (SXSW)
Janet Sellery (Sellery Health & Safety)
