Soundbites Hearing Preservation comes to NAMM Show

Hearing Health Science Inc. (HHS) is attending the NAMM Show in Anaheim. The firm will be distributing information on Soundbites, the world's first commercially available micronutrient pharmaceutical for hearing preservation. HHS is in the Sensaphonics booth, #6952 in Hall A of the Anaheim Convention Center.

Soundbites is a high-potency vitamin supplement based on a patented formula developed by University of Michigan researchers and approved by the FDA for clinical trials in the US and European Union. Its safe, powerful combination of antioxidant vitamins is manufactured to pharmaceutical standards in the form of a mint. HHS also plans to offer the supplement as a soluble powder, Soundbites Shots.

HHS is partnering with Dr. Michael Santucci, president of Sensaphonics, Inc., to conduct Soundbites field trials with music industry professionals. "Musicians and audio professionals have a highly developed sense of hearing and a high risk of hearing loss, which makes them an ideal test group," Santucci says. "The potential benefit of Soundbites to musicians is enormous, and I am delighted to be working with Hearing Health Science to confirm its efficacy and bring this new technology to the music industry."

Soundbites is the result of two key discoveries by Dr. Josef M. Miller of the University of Michigan. He discovered that, contrary to conventional wisdom, most hearing loss is caused by oxidative stress and decreased blood flow to the inner ear. His second breakthrough was in finding and codifying the most effective antioxidants to directly address this problem. That formula, which consists of a precise blend of the antioxidant vitamins A, C, and E, combined with the vasodilator mineral magnesium, has been licensed exclusively by Hearing Health Science, developer of Soundbites.

"With FDA approval in hand, clinical trials with musicians is the last key hurdle for Soundbites before we release them to the general public," notes Barry Seifer, CEO of Hearing Health Science. "We're very excited to be attending the NAMM Show for the first time, spreading the word on what could be a real game-changer in the battle against hearing loss. Come see us in the Sensaphonics booth to learn more about Soundbites!"
