Lucille Lortel Award Winners Announced

The winners of the Lucille Lortel Awards for the 2022 -- 2023 season were announced on May 7 at a ceremony held at NYU's Skirball Center. The Lortels honor achievement in the Off Broadway theatre scene.

The winners in the design categories are:

Outstanding Scenic Design
You-Shin Chen -- Wolf Play

Outstanding Costume Design
Alejo Vietti -- Titaníque

Outstanding Lighting Design
Isabella Byrd -- Epiphany

Outstanding Sound Design
Kate Marvin -- Wolf Play

Outstanding Projection Design
Kameron Neal -- Dark Disabled Stories

Winning multiple awards were, with five, Hansol Jung's Wolf Play, about an off-the-record adoption, and, with three, Titaníque, a spoof of James Cameron's Titanic, featuring a score of Celine Dion hits.
