Maxell Provides Visual Excellence with a New Series of 3LCD High Brightness Projectors

Maxell 3LCD laser projector.

Maxell, Ltd. announced an expansion to its Professional Projector line with the new MP-WU8701 and MP-WU8801 3LCD laser projectors. The new projectors heighten the visual experience by delivering vibrant and crisp graphics, with the MP-WU8701 featuring 7,000 ANSI lumens brightness and the MP-WU8801 featuring 8,000 ANSI lumens brightness. Both come with an industry leading five-year/20,000 hour (whichever occurs earlier) warranty in the US and Canada.

Laser projectors from Maxell offer 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation, and when Long Life 2 Mode is used projectors can get up to 50,000 hours (applicable warranty coverage is five years/20,000 hours (whichever occurs earlier) whether or not Long Life 2 mode is selected) of operation, reducing the cost of ownership by eliminating the need for lamp replacement. The projectors' high dependability and affordability make them ideal for use in auditoriums, lecture halls, classrooms, conference rooms, museums, and other large venues while their interchangeable lens functionality ensures the projectors fit the need of every type of installation.

These laser-light projectors deliver visual clarity and brilliance with the integration of Maxell's signature Accentualizer and High Dynamic Contrast Range 2 (HDCR2) technology. The Accentualizer technology makes images look realistic by enhancing sharpness, gloss and shade, while HDCR2 simultaneously corrects distorted image color and tone.

Maxell's MP-WU8701 and MP-WU8801 feature blending and warping capabilities via manual adjustment or by using Maxell's Projector Blending Tool 3 which utilizes a camera and software to automatically make adjustments.

The series enables 4K signal input on HDMI1, HDBaseT and Display Port input terminals. Both models feature WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution with a 2,500,000:1 contrast ratio. Additionally, secure embedded networking gives customers the ability to manage and control multiple projectors from one centralized location to schedule events, transfer images, create email alerts, as well as to receive centralized reporting and conduct routine maintenance.

The Business Solutions Group of Hitachi America, Ltd.'s, Digital Solutions Division will be the distributing partner supporting the launch and resale of these Maxell projectors in the US and Canada through September 30, 2019. Beginning October 1, 2019, Maxell, Ltd., through its United States subsidiary, Maxell Corporation of America, will assume responsibility for all operations related to the sale of Maxell-brand projectors and accessories in the North American market.
