White Light Continues Audio Investment with DPA

Following last year's hugely successful launch of White Light's audio department, the company will continue building its audio expertise and equipment catalog all throughout 2016. The company says it has "a commitment to offering the very latest technology within the audio industry," this has seen a host of clients use the company solely for its audio services. The company's reputation as an audio supplier has now been further enhanced by its latest investment in the DPA Microphones d:screet 4080 and DPA d:vote 4099 microphones.

DPA Microphones offer sound innovation for all areas of the entertainment industry. As one of the first miniature microphone developers, the company has paved the way for creative expression in the music, theatre, television, and film industries. Every single product is assembled by hand in its state-of-the-art factory in Denmark and calibrated up to 15 times before final approval.

White Light has already invested in the DPA range, with its existing hire stock including DPA d:fine headsets, DPA d:screet 4060s, along with the ground-breaking Podium microphones. This latest investment includes a large quantity of DPA d:screet 4080s and DPA d:vote 4099s; all of which will be available for hire.

Marcus Wadland, White Light's audio project manager, comments: "It was a natural choice for us to add additional ranges of DPA microphones to our hire stock. We are continually evaluating the current market offerings from the pro audio industry and there really was no other contender when it came to close fixed instrument microphones to service our growing workload."

DPA Microphones is distributed exclusively in the UK through Sound Network. Adam Pierce, Sound Network's UK sales and marketing manager, comments: "The key to installation and conference sound is clarity and intelligibility, for which DPA's d:screet and d:vote microphones are well known. With White Light now adding d:screet 4080 and d:vote 4099s to their d:fine headset microphones, we're very happy to work with a company that recognizes the benefit of employing this quality in their projects. I'm sure it will make a noticeable difference to the quality of service that White Light is able to consistently deliver to its clients."

The DPA d:screet 4080s and d:vote 4099s join a series of other leading audio manufacturers such as EM Acoustics, Full Fat Audio, Sennheiser, Shure, and Yamaha which are all available as part of White Light's hire range.

Wadland adds: "Over the past 12 months, our equipment has been hired out to prolific events such as the Rugby World Cup, music festivals, corporate functions, and even charity fundraisers. Similarly, only last month, we delivered a large-scale conference which included a large plenary, several large breakout spaces, and 60 channels of RF -- therefore this continued investment comes as no surprise. With the addition of the latest DPA microphones, we continue to grow an equipment inventory which can fulfil any audio requirements."
