Meteor Lighting Launches 6" Cylinder Slim with 3,000 - 9,200 Lumen Packages

Meteor Lighting's 6" Cylinder Slim downlight

The new Cylinder Slim Series from Meteor Lighting is an economical LED downlight that delivers wide range of lumen packages from 3,000 to 9,200lm with multiple optical options. With the breadth of lumen packages and beam configurations, Cylinder Slim can be easily customized for application in spaces with different ceiling heights. Cylinder Slim optimizes heat management and lumen output with its new wet location listed light engine and stack-effect thermal structural design heat sink which benefits in increased cooling performances. It is designed to provide long-term product sustainability.

Cylinder Slim is available in range of dimming capabilities such as DMX, 0-10V (1%), Triac, Ecosystem, and DALI. Incorporated with Meteor's newly developed light voltage control (two-wire Triac) technology, Cylinder Slim is designed to efficiently replace traditional metal halide and quartz light without the need to replace the original dimming controls.

Meteor's proprietary video flicker-free VX Driver technology is incorporated for ultra smooth dimming that result in premium video recording and broadcasting. Cylinder Slim is capable of supporting various lighting scenarios, giving lighting designers the freedom to specify one luminaire system that can provide different performance combinations.

Cylinder Slim's clean aesthetic design with a trimless reflector provides minimal visual impact suited for remodel or new construction. The 6" aperture downlight combines optical precision and dimming performances for functional and architectural lighting design, ideal for applications in churches, auditoriums, airports, retail, and exterior canopies.
