The ViaTraveler is a powerful, versatile, and easy to use curtain draw machine that offers a cost-effective solution for most motorized curtains. With a zero-fleet winch designed for moving horizontal loads up to 60', the unit has been specifically manufactured to work in conjunction with all standard stage curtain tracks. Its zero fleet capability permits close placement of the unit to pulleys and eliminates concern with fleet angles. The winch's closed-loop design allows for bi-direction motion of any horizontal movement. In addition, the ViaTraveler can be installed in four different orientations and has one of the smallest cubic areas on the market the company says.
The ViaWinch is a self-contained motorized winch with an 8:1 safety factor designed for overhead lifting with a primary motor brake. It is rated for various line pulls utilizing a 1/4" drive line on a grooved aluminum drum with a travel of 40' and a range of speeds. An on-board starter cabinet allows the use of a plug-in pendant for operation, soft start/soft stop, and a power requirement of 120V 20A at the winch. The ViaWinch is specifically constructed to be mounted in various orientations for a variety of uses, with all machine components enclosed completely inside a welded steel plate frame with mounting holes on the unit's base, front, and rear. The ViaWinch was an "Indispensable Technology Nominee" at LDI 2012.
The VIA brand of products are made in the USA, and designed, assembled, and sold by iWeiss Theatrical Solutions.
